Stewardship for a distinctive Cle Elum retreat
Fugio LLC manages a single architect‑designed property in the Yakima River valley near Cle Elum, Washington. We're building thoughtfully: clear standards, meticulous maintenance, and guest experiences that feel personal.
What is Fugio?
Fugio was the banner for a Seattle import store in the late 1990s. Today it's our umbrella for property management of a unique Cle Elum home. We focus on quiet reliability over scale: a tight operations checklist, transparent communications, and the right tools (smart locks, environmental monitoring, and preventive maintenance) to keep the home in excellent condition.

The “Fugio” name & the 1787 cent
The word Fugio (“I flee” / “time flies”) appears on a 1787 copper coin commonly called the Fugio cent, attributed to Benjamin Franklin. Its paired mottoes — a sun and sundial with “Fugio” and the ribboned reminder “Mind Your Business” — are often read together as an encouragement to focus on your work and the time at hand. The design is in the public domain; we use a modern graphic echo of the coin as our mark.
Note: the historical motto is “Mind Your Business,” not “mind your OWN business.”
